Embedded Semantics glossary
Governed definitions for semantic outcomes, identifiers, authorization boundaries, and machine discovery.
ConceptCode
-
A published identifier for one governed concept. It is accepted only from a structurally valid resolved response.
Resolved
-
A resolver outcome that identifies exactly one published concept and satisfies the response contract.
Unknown
-
A resolver outcome stating that no governed concept can be assigned from the submitted expression.
Ambiguous
-
A resolver outcome stating that more than one governed concept remains plausible; no ConceptCode is accepted.
Representation validator
-
A content-derived HTTP entity tag used to revalidate one exact machine-readable byte representation without asserting semantic truth.
API catalog
-
The RFC 9727 well-known Linkset that identifies the publisher's public API endpoints and their first-party descriptions.
Discovery receipt
-
The deterministic route inventory in the first-party discovery document. It states each machine representation's path, media type, content location, methods, cache policy, and conditional-request behavior without granting semantic authority.
